This last year Covid-19 has had a huge impact on our lives and turned everything upside down making it impossible to plan weddings, but with the recent government announcements we should be able to start making plans for the Summer – so exciting!
If you are looking for a gorgeous venue in Hampshire or possibly an outdoor ceremony, then look no further at Froyle Park a Jacobean Manor house in the heart of Hampshire. As you arrive at the driveway leading to the house, with the fountain sparkles as you approach it, we can see why Cheryl and Grey booked their wedding here! What a simply stunning location!
Congratulations to Greg and Cheryl who had their wedding and reception on the 29th February last year, our last big wedding before lockdown. We remember the day so well, flash floods on our way, a hailstorm and then it being a very chilly winter day, and just when we thought the day was going to be a wash out, as the ceremony finished as luck would have it the sun came out just when we needed it to, and we got all the shots the bride and groom wanted and so many more!
The Dome in the garden is just perfect for photos or think how lovely it would it be to get married outside and have that romantic cosy gathering with beautiful tablescapes, full of elegance with candles, flowers and celebrating with dinner! How romantic was Bridgerton??…wow everyone needs their own Duke of Hastings, just think what a beautiful theme Regency could be! Think, lovely colour palettes you could use with Spring and Summer flowers creating a timeless, classic and elegant look. When you book your wedding at Froyle Park you have the Manor House to yourself and you can dress it to your style and colour schemes. There is the Great Hall which the couple chose for their wedding ceremony a grand room with a sweeping staircase for the bride to make her entrance, wood panelled with an open fireplace making the room warm and atmospheric. Then they chose the Ballroom for their wedding breakfast, a real contrast from the Great Hall The Ballroom is light airy and just beautiful for a sunset dinner, and then on to the evening turning into a great space for guests to dance the night away with a live band.
Plan Your Day Your Way
From the moment you arrive at Froyle Park you will be welcomed! Getting ready is there is two options, the very contemporary wing in the manor for the bridal party to get ready in or the main house which has four posted bedrooms, simply elegant and stylish. The manor is licensed for small and large wedding ceremonies, it is a stunning backdrop for a wedding with gorgeous gardens overlooking fields with sheep and a sweeping driveway to make a grand entrance. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed, what better way to have a small wedding, perfect for spending time with your family and friends throughout the day.
When Greg and Cheryl booked us for their wedding photography, we met them prior to their day so we can plan their wedding photography with them ahead of the day and ensure there was plenty of time to get great photos of their children Archie and Bells who were a key part of the day and loved the camera!
When planning your wedding and choosing your photographer, one of the most important parts of your wedding day is taking the time to make creative portraits of you both. Make sure you save at least 30 mins to an hour for this. We will guide you through everything, and we can discuss some ideas and locations, occasionally there will an adventurous endeavour or two!
Enjoying the romance of the setting at Froyle Park Greg and Cheryl loved the idea of this shot, we used off camera flash to backlight the Dome (hidden by the Bride and Groom) it took some thought and planning, but we love the result!

Planning the location of the family shots is essential and key for guests not to get bored and wander off, we like to keep everyone happy and smiley! If we are going to include a group shot the perfect way to do this take this photo first whilst we have everyone is together and then move on to do the smaller groups keeping the key guests in the shots are nearby.
We know how exciting planning a wedding is, and we know how many choices you have to make, when you are choosing the person who will photograph the biggest day of your lives, if you would like to discuss your day please contact us, we would love to work with you.
